Review: Platinum Carbon Black

This is the first time I am trying an ink by Platinum. This is a pigment-based carbon ink that's waterproof. Take care when using such inks as there are warning on some seller's page that the ink is hard to wash out once it's dried up. The ink doesn't slosh up and down in my ink converter like it normally would. It feels that this ink is thicker than usual. At the same time, it starts up easily even when I left the pen uncapped for 10 minutes. Carbon black is as the name states. It's black and dark. There is no shading and dry time is quite extended on good paper. It is still smudging at 30s but it works well here.
