Review: Visconti Purple

My thanks to Fook Hing for providing me the bottle of Visconti Purple for review.

Visconti Purple is a nice shade of purple that reminds me of Pilot Iroshizuku Murasaki Shikibu. It shades slightly even in a fine Japanese nib. It goes from a saturated purple to a lavender pastel purple. The ink goes down on the redder side of purple but dries to be decidedly blue-er. It flows wet in my Japanese fine nib. It wasn’t as dry as I expected the ink to be.
